We stock a variety of new seals at our Calgary warehouse ready to ship now. Non stock items are brought in from our Ontario warehouse, or from our preferred manufacturer in the US. Delivery for items is usually the next business day.
OEM seals vs seals from WRES: Compressor manufacturers do not produce their own seals, but rather buy in bulk from the seal manufacturer that offers them the best price. While most seal patents have run out, designs are copied by all manufacturers and are offered as either OEM or after market seals. As is often the case, some copies are of better quality than others.
WRES Ltd. has aligned with top manufacturers in the business and is offering products of highest quality with quick delivery. In addition to quality control at the manufacturer, we provide a full QC inspection prior to shipping a seal to our customer.
In the case of gas and refrigeration compressors, we also look at statistics of seal life cycles in specific machines and offer improved seat face materials to our customers.
Seal installation kits and shaft sleeves, where applicable, are stocked for most of the common make and models such as: Ariel, Frick, GHH, Gardner Denver, Howden, Kobelco, Mycom, Ro-Flo and Sullair.
REFURBISHED COMPRESSOR SEALS
SEAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR NATURAL GAS AND REFRIGERATION APPLICATIONS
Reconditioned seals for the most common natural gas and refrigeration compressors are available through our “SEAL EXCHANGE” program and are ready to ship from Calgary now.
Our remanufactured seals are rebuilt to OEM specifications or better, at times using superior, more expensive seal seat materials.
Once the seal is shipped, we expect the old seal core to be returned to us within a reasonable time of approximately 2 weeks. Unforeseen circumstances at times dictate that this time span be extended, and we understand that, as long as it is clearly communicated to us along the way.
Seal installation kits and shaft sleeves, where applicable, are stocked for most of the compressor makes and models.
Installation tools are offered for the Frick compressors. They can be purchased individually.
